The location

Buenas Burritos was founded in 2015 and has served Walsall High Street since summer of 2018. Owner Neil Snook founded the company following redundancy from a long career in the bus industry. Having developed a passion to cook Mexican style dishes at home, Neil wanted to see if he could transfer a street-based food offering to the high street. After looking at a number of sites, he felt drawn to Walsall as he had been connected to the town for over 20 years. The fact there was no other trader serving this style of food made the decision easier.

The business has developed a core following of regulars and has attracted tourists from USA, Russia and even the Cayman Islands! Providing fresh and healthy ingredients every day, Buenas Burritos has been a popular offering to young and old alike, along with those who took a leap of faith in passing on their usual fast-food chains in the town. Neil has been instrumental in social initiatives, such as providing drinks and a listening ear to local homeless people, fronting campaigns to raise awareness on modern day slavery and using Fairtrade and other ethically sourced produce. He also has a heart to see the high street revived to see small businesses thrive and to become a place of welcome and activity to people of the town and beyond.
