I am a mixed media Artist and Writer. The Hippo is a much-loved piece of Public Art and having researched into his forgotten story, this went on to be published in an anthology by Walsall writers in 2016 entitled ‘Meet me by the Hippo’. A phrase that many people in Walsall will recall with fond memories.
